What are the places to visit in Coorg? Coorg(Madikeri) is a hill station in Karnataka state and the headquarters of Kodagu district. I ll share the details of the places that I visited in Coorg recently. First I went to Mysore from chennai via train and from Mysore the Madikeri is only 118 Kms away which we reached there through bus in just 3 hours. We always expect more hair pin bends while travelling to hill stations but i was surprised that I saw no hair pin bends on the roads to Coorg. Although the height of Coorg is 1,170 m from the sea level. The Climate was around 18 to 20 degree celsius in average.
