What are the places to visit in Coorg? Coorg(Madikeri) is a hill station in Karnataka state and the headquarters of Kodagu district. I ll share the details of the places that I visited in Coorg recently. First I went to Mysore from chennai via train and from Mysore the Madikeri is only 118 Kms away which we reached there through bus in just 3 hours. We always expect more hair pin bends while travelling to hill stations but i was surprised that I saw no hair pin bends on the roads to Coorg. Although the height of  Coorg is 1,170 m from the sea level. The Climate was around 18 to 20 degree celsius in average.  This images shows the tourist spots and its distance from Main bus stand of Coorg. TalaCauvery: TalaCauvery is the birthplace for Cauvery River and it is 48 Kms from Madikeri, its a holy place and there is a view point. This place is one of the main place that you have to visit. Recently i changed my website's URL due to some reasons and i noticed a sudden drop in traffic, I myself searched for my website in google and only few posts were visible in the search results. I came to know that the main reason behind this is Indexing . What is Indexing?  An index is another name for the database used by a search engine. It contains information on all the websites the search engine was able to find. If a website is not in a search engine's index, users will not be able to find it using that search engine.This process is known as Indexing.   I tried searching the old URL and all the posts were visbile on the search engine, but the link was broken as i changed the URL.So i reverted back to the old URL and got my traffic back. So be cautious while changing the URL or domain because it may take some time to properly index the new URL in search engines. This happened to my duke 200 where it submerged in water during the floods that hit my city back December 2015 and the bike was only 6 months old at that time and it fully submerged. First i thought that the flood water might cause damage to the engine and battery but i was surprised. Duke is inside the water.   Nothing happened to the bike, And i heard that the engine should not be started because it may cause the engine to fail and thereby it may void the insurance and warranty, so i did not ignite the engine after it was brought out of water.(It stayed submerged for 4 days) I loaded the bike in a truck and reached the nearby KTM service center and the bike was serviced. I heard that other brand bikes had few issues in their engines, batteries because of fill up of water. Luckily my bike had a usual service which will cost around Rs 3,500. Usually they will replace the engine oil, Oil filter, air filter, brake pads. The same was done on this service also.

Its been two years since i bought the KTM Duke 200, recently while i was cleaning my duke 200 i found some oil stains over the engine casing and i came to know that its a engine oil leak. I have heard many times that engine oil leak is a common problem on the KTM Duke. If not found the engine might seize, luckily i found it and had it serviced at KTM service center. While water washing i saw the greasy stains over the engine. I got it serviced and they refilled it with new Motul Synthetic Engine oil  and replaced the oil and air filter. They sealed the engine casing and as of now i dont see any leaking. Already my bike was due for service and at the same time the engine oil leak also happened. It costed Rs 800 for Synthetuc engine oil and Rs 750 for servicing the vehicle. And they replaced few other parts like oil filter, air filter and brake pads so totally it was around Rs 3.5K.
